Grief group

Who is the grief group for?

If you have lost a parent, grandparent, brother, sister, friend or someone you were close to and would like to talk to others who are in the same situation, the grief group could be for you. In the grief group, we speak openly about the many thoughts and feelings that arise when grief and loss enter our lives.

Who run the grief group?

The grief group at SDU in Odense is led by university chaplain Lene Crone Nielsen

Where and when?

The grief group meets around 10 times on Tuesdays from 5.00-7.30 PM in a meeting room at Campus in Odense. Further information about meeting place and dates will be informed to the participants.

Practical information

There can be a maximum of 8 participants in a group, and you should sign up in advance.

It does not cost anything to take part.

The meetings in the grief group take place in Danish so you must be able to speak and understand Danish to participate.

Before we meet in the grief group for the first time, you are invited to join me for a cup of tea/coffee, where we will have the chance to meet each other and where you can hear more about what it means to attend a grief group.
