Before you apply
Before each application round, we host a series of information meetings where we cover the process and the considerations you should make before you apply.
On our new Study Abroad portal, you will find the exchange agreements SDU currently have.
Choose your study programme and academic year for going abroad to see which agreements are available to you. The portal will state when the exchange offer is final (before each application round).
We also recommend that you check out our step-by-step application guide for our best tips and tricks, as well as detailed instructions on how to apply.
When you apply
You apply for an exchange place via our online application system (Please note that the application platform is not quite ready yet. As soon as the application platform opens, it will be announced on these pages, as well as on the Study Abroad portal).
Please take note of the following when you apply:
- We recommend that you check out our step-by-step application guide
- Only places listed on the portal are available. Remember to read the comments on each agreement - there is important information you should know about.
- You can list up to 5 priorities in your application
- Prioritize the places you wish to apply for
- Set up a realistic and relevant study plan for each priority
- Check out the step-by-step application guide’s step 2 for our best tips and tricks
- You do not have to apply for pre-approval from the Study Board before knowing which exchange place you get, but you should know which courses you need to substitute
- If you wish to attend the same university as one or more of your fellow students, remember to indicate their names in the application’s comment section and list the same priorities (see how this influence the allocation of places)
- Submit the application within the deadline
