You find the exam plans below. The final exam plans for the coming examination period are approved by the Academic Study Board at the start October and March, respectively.
Please remember to check the full exam schedule, given that many exams take place over more days. The term “combined test” may cover several examination types. Please, check the course description for precise information concerning the exam in question.
Note that some minor amendments can be made, so please check that you have the most recent information. If you have several exams on the same date, you can contact the secretary of the course/s in question.

Timetable and Updates
Information about date, time and place of the exam is available in the Digital Exam system. A notification is sent to your student mail, when an exam is made visible for you in Digital Exam.
Details about the exam type and regulations are available in the course description, itslearning or the Digital Exam system. Time schedules for oral exams will be posted by the examiner on itslearning.
Procedure for Registration for Re-exams
Reexams are scheduled as follows:
- 7th February – 7th March in the winter examination period, and
- 1st – 31st August in the summer examination period.
If you wish to take the re-exam in the same exam period as the ordinary exam, you must register for the re-exam during the exam registration period, even if you have not yet received your assessment or attended the ordinary exam.
You can register for reexams through SDU Student Self Service during the following registration periods:
- 1st – 21st January for reexams in the winter examination period
- 1st – 21st June for reexams in the summer examination period.
If you wish to deregister from a reexam, you can do so via SDU Student Self Service up to two weeks before the reexam date. Deregistration after this period requires a dispensation from the Academic Study Board
Grades
Your grades will be visible at the student self-service, https://sso.sdu.dk, when registered.
It may take up to 4 weeks from the written exam/deadline for hand-in of your assignment (exams which are evaluated based on the written assignment only) before the grades are visible.
