Symposion is rumoured to be SDU’s biggest party committee. Even though the name is inspired by Ancient Greece, we are affiliated with English and American Studies. Since 2014, we have been the glue that held together these two courses. Colloquially, we are known as EngAm’s party committee or simply the Party Committee.
Where do we party? We party right here at SDU. We make the location of each party public on Facebook.
Who do we party with? The parties are hosted for the students of English and American Studies, but they are open to everyone, so you can definitely bring a friend.
How often do we party? We typically party six times a year, but this is not fixed. Traditionally, we host a barbecue party in the summer and a Christmas party where our professors are in charge of entertainment.
