Your A-kasse
You must apply for admission in an A-kasse within 2 weeks before graduating, to get the right to unemployment benefits a month after you graduate. It is your A-kasse who is responsible for the administration of your unemployment benefits, but they also help you with job-seeking through interviews, events, etc. Contact your A-kasse to hear more about the help that they offer.
The job center in your municipality
Some municipalities have a special team, who helps unemployed graduates. You can get help on getting in contact with an organization or help with your job application, regardless of whether there is a special team or not. When you've graduated, you should report your unemployment to the job center. The first step is to contact your A-kasse and ask what to do, once you are unemployed.
Career guidance at SDU
You can get career guidance at SDU even after you've graduated. You can book a career guidance meeting or participate in career events at SDU. Some graduates use career counseling if they need input, more interviews, or a closer relation to the university.

Join the Alumnet, which is SDU’s official network for graduates. It's a digital gathering place for students, graduates, and professors. It's a place where you can actively help each other to further your career development. In addition to the network, you get free admission to academic journals at the library, a discount at the Folkeuniversitet, and many other interesting things.
Mentorship
