Price adjustments for Graphic Center’s printing services
As of 1 January 2023, the prices for the Graphic Center’s printing services have been adjusted due to raw material price hikes on the world market.
Over the last few years, the Graphic Center has been able to keep the prices of its printing services fairly constant, as we have succeeded in getting better purchase prices and agreements through a combined purchase. However, the current prices are now being caught up by price hikes on the world market, and the Graphic Center has therefore decided to announce price adjustments from the turn of the year.
The adjustments cover all printing products and will be in the order of 20-40% exclusive of the start-up fee and depending on the product. Both SDU students and SDU employees have access to the printing services. Therefore, the new price structure remains flat, so that users do not experience differential treatment. This means that a production of 1 unit costs relatively the same as the production of 1000 units.
However, there are costs associated with the start-up of all productions, which is why small productions are significantly more expensive than large ones. On this basis, a variable start-up fee is introduced on all productions depending on the waste associated with the production.
