International

PressReader offers access to content from the last three months in more than 7,000 newspapers and magazines from more than 140 countries and in more than 60 languages.
It is possible to do free text searches in all the newspapers, in individual countries or in individual publications.
You can also access PressReader via the free app, which can be downloaded to your relevant platform: App StoreGooglePlay og Windows.

LexisNexis

Nexis Uni gives access to international sources and contains many foreign newspapers, journals, etc. in full-text.

Danish

Infomedia - The University Library of Southern Denmark subscribes to InfoMedia, which gives electronic access to articles and archives from most Danish newspapers and a number of journals.

NB! Infomedia is for educational, research and personal use only. You may download and print a limited amount of articles. You may not sell, pass on, distribute, reproduce, harvest or store materials from Infomedia. These must be accessed via Infomedia's systems.

Mediestream - The Royal Danish Library's digital collections of Danish cultural heritage, which so far consists of television, radio and commercial films and access to  digitized danish newspapers from fra Statens Avissamling. Access to the entire collection is available, except for the most recent 100 years. You can also search in the so-called 'ownerless' collection.
Note: No new radio/TV content is currently being added to Mediestream until spring 2025.

American

The Library gives access to a range of early American newspapers at Early American Newspapers, Series III, 1829-1922.
Access for staff and students at SDU and employees at OUH.

 

Besides there  exist a collection of Danish-American immigrant newspapers from the Museum of Danish America:
Digital Library of Danish American Newspapers and Journals.

German

WISO gives access to a rage of German newspapers, journals ect.
Access for the staff and students at SDU and hospital employees at OUH/Rsyd.

Norwegian/Swedish

Retriever gives access to articles from Norwegian and Swedish newspapers and journals.
Access for the staff and students at SDU and hospital employees at OUH/Rsyd.

Paper versions and microfilm

The University Library of Southern Denmark  subscribes to paper versions of selected  newspapers. You can see which printed newspapers are held by the University Library of Southern Denmark and where they are located by searching in the library catalogue. These newspapers are available for use at the library. 

SDUB has all the national Danish newspapers until 2015 and some of the international newspapers on microfilm. You can find these in the library's online catalogue. The microfilms can be used at the library and copies of articles can be requested at the current price.

Radio and television broadcasts

SDU Library can to a certain extent help you to find and borrow TV and radio broadcasts. For more information
