The purpose of the Career Management Skills workshops is to prepare you for the job market for Economic and Business Administration graduates. The best way to prepare yourself for your future career is to work with your career resources while you are still a student, so you are better prepared for employment when you graduate.
Throughout the workshops you will be introduced to concrete tools and techniques, which you should utilize within your Project- and Trainee company in order to position yourself for a future career either within the particular Project- and Trainee company or within another company.
During the course we will work with identifying the competences you have already gained through your studies and how you can use these competences in the company you are currently in. We will also work with the notion of networking, on what and where your network is and how you can use it strategically to create value for yourself and your Project- and Trainee company. We will also work with the formalized job search on how to write a good application and a CV so you will be called for the job interview. Finally, you will develop your own “Career Strategy” setting your career aim for the future and identifying how to reach it.
For students doing their Project- and Trainee period, it´s mandatory to participate in a Career Management Skills learning program while out in the internships. The student can choose between 2 formats. Participate in 4 workshops at the university in Odense or an e-learn Career Management Skills course online. The e-learn course consists of 4 small assignments revolving around the same themes as the workshops at the university.
