The application must be sent via SPOC.
Applications that are not submitted via the application link will not be processed.
If you justify your application on the grounds of illness, the documentation must contain the following information:
- A diagnosis, if possible
- A brief description of any course of treatment
- A connection (in terms of time) between the period of illness and the specific condition from which you are applying for a dispensation. It is important that your doctor informs you whether you have been seen during the period before the date on which the medical certificate is made.
- A description of how the disease has affected/affected your opportunities to study in the semesters relevant to your dispensation/application.
An application is incomplete if it does not contain an exam transcript including all tests in Danish or English and is not documented to the extent possible.
All applications must be sent via the application portal (SPOC) and will automatically be forwarded to the study board's mailbox.

Your application and all relevant attachments (criteria for attachments are described in the individual forms) must be received in pdf-format no later than 14 days before the next Study Board meeting. The Study Board will confirm receipt of your application.

You will receive an answer to your application on your SDU-student email no later than 14 days after the meeting of the Study Board. You cannot get a response to your application by phone.

The individual study activity must be pre-approved by the Study Board of Public Health. After pre-approval you will be automatically registered for the exam. The ECTS-value can be of maximum 5 ECTS. Read more about the criteria and application in the course description.
