Advice and guidance for using a hand scanner

A hand scanner can be used to scan drawings, graphs or other things into a Word document for your exam, if you find it easier, for example, to draw your graphs on a piece of paper, after which you scan it into the document that you want to submit as your exam paper.

Good advice before your exam

  • Always test your hand scanner a few days before your exam. If it does not work, please contact SDU IT for further help.
  • Always bring spare batteries with you to the exam.
  • Remember the cable for the handheld scanner, as the images must ONLY be transferred via cable.
  • Remember an adapter so that you can transfer images from the handheld scanner to your computer.
