The Denmark-America Foundation & Fulbright Commission

The Denmark-America Foundation is a private, Danish foundation established in 1914. It is financially supported by the Danish business world and other foundations, and with Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark as patroness. The Denmark-America Foundation only offers grants to Danish citizens or dual Danish-American citizens based in Denmark.

The Danish-American Fulbright Commission is based on a bi-national treaty from 1951. It is publicly funded by the Danish and the American states, and the American Ambassador to Denmark is honorary chair of the Commission Board. The Fulbright Commission offers grants to both Americans to Denmark and Danes to the USA.

The Denmark-America Foundation & the Fulbright Commission offers scholarships and advising Danish students interested in studying abroad in USA. The scholarships are in the range of 50.000-100.000 DKK.

The application deadline for studies and research for the academic year 2013/2024 is:
