We talk about you and your challenges

A conversation with the Counselling and Study Support is a conversation between you and a counselor, which aims to support you in dealing with the issues you are experiencing and give you tools to handle future challenges.

The conversation can be about many different study-related things, but we often have conversations about, for example, doubts, illness during studies, maternity leave, exam anxiety, study techniques, personal challenges and the thesis process.

How does it work?

A counselling session usually takes 45 minutes. If you need more time, you can agree with the counselor how to book one or more additional counselling sessions.

A counselling session with the Counselling and Study Support can take place face-to-face, be a video consultation or take place over the phone.

Confidentiality

All counselors are subject to a duty of confidentiality. This means that we do not disclose confidential information from the conversation to unauthorized parties.

We are subject to a reporting obligation, which means that we must disclose information about breaches of the code of conduct that arise during a conversation.

We generally do not keep records of the conversations, and you are not obliged to give us your real name, CPR number or student number.
