You’re new here – let us make you feel welcome
It is our aim to make you feel ready to take on your Danish adventure, feeling more excited than anxious. We will help you get all the practical things in order and start building a social network, so you can enjoy your stay here.
When is it?
The Orientation Days are always the last two weekdays before the semester begins. In Autumn semester of 2023, they will be 30 and 31 August. The Autumn semester will begin on 1 September and you will receive information about your first classes before you start at SDU.
Should I prepare anything?
Other than what has been mentioned in the arrival e-mail, you do not have to prepare anything! There are a few things, though, which we would like you to consider before arriving.
Consider the following personal mental exercise, primarily for your own sake, in order to ensure that you are properly prepared to begin your studies in Denmark.
Simply ask yourself the following questions:
- Why did I choose to study in Denmark?
- What do I expect the experience to be like?
- What do I hope to take away from this experience?
