Study Start General Information

You'll find all the necessary IT systems on MySDU under the 'Links' menu.

Once you've ordered your student ID card, you'll need to activate your SDU account using your CPR number and your exam number. Your exam number will be on the receipt you get after ordering your student ID card.

If you're a returning SDU bachelor's student, you'll use the same login you've always used.

If you haven't received a login, are missing your receipt, or have other issues with ordering your student ID or accessing IT systems, please contact our Servicedesk:

Phone: + 45 6550 2990
Email: servicedesk@sdu.dk

Your personal schedule will be available on itslearning. Itslearning is SDU's learning platform. You can find the schedule under the 'Calendar' menu item.

On itslearning, you can find literature lists for the courses you'll be taking next semester. Often, these literature lists are only updated shortly before the semester begins.

It's always a good idea to ask your lecturers for advice on which literature to prioritize buying, and which literature is secondary – meaning you might not necessarily need to purchase it.

Help and Support

SPOC stands for Single Point of Contact.

SPOC is an online contact system for communicating with SDU's administration and various support functions.

Instead of having to find the correct email address or phone number for specific departments, you can use the SPOC system.

If you have a permanent physical or mental condition that means you need special support to complete a university education, you can apply for Special Educational Support (SPS).

There are many facilities for students at SDU.

On MySDU you can find links to the facilities offered by our different campus cities.

You're never alone with your questions at SDU. Many people are ready to help you.

The most important thing is to reach out when you need help.No matter who you contact first, they will help direct you to the right person or department. So, never hesitate to ask!

You can read more about the different support options on MySDU.

If you have any questions about your study start, you're always welcome to contact us at studystart@sam.sdu.dk.
