No. The courses within the faculty and level that you have applied for were indicative; the actual course registration is done via Student Self-Service, in the period from 20-30th May for courses in the autumn semester or 20-30th November for courses in the spring semester.
Some courses are not available in the self-service portal. We will register you manually if you have chosen and been approved for such courses. These courses include:
- Courses from other faculties
- Courses from a different level of study (e.g. if the majority of the courses in your application were bachelor courses, but you chose some master courses as well, we will sign you up for the master courses manually – and the same goes the other way around)
How many ECTS should I register for?
You should register a total of 30 ECTS points (no more, no less), unless you have an agreement with SDU International.
All non-EU citizens are required to be signed up for 30 ECTS - no more, no less (your residence permit depends on it). Please be aware of this if you wish you add/drop courses.
All Nordic, EU, and Swiss citizens should follow 30 ECTS, unless you have made other arrangements with us.
What should I consider before I register for a course?
You are free to choose any course from the appropriate list, as long as you meet the prerequisites - you can find these in the course descriptions by clicking on the course.
Please read the prerequisites carefully! They are there for your sake: if you think you don’t meet them, don’t register for the course.
Can I change courses later?
You can change your course registration yourself until January 31 for spring courses or August 31 for fall courses. After this date, it is only possible to change courses by contacting us.
Please note that you should only change courses after the deadline mentioned above if it is strictly necessary. We strongly recommend that you don’t change your course registration after the semester begins, as you will miss vital parts of the course teachings. If you are in urgent need of changing a course after the semester starts, it is possible from February 1 to February 14 for spring courses or September 1 to September 14 for fall courses. We will send you an email with instructions later on.
