This type of study or research period takes place at the European Parliament in Luxembourg. The activity needs to be of 3 months duration set in fixed periods (mid-January – mid-April, mid-April – mid-July, mid-September – mid-December). It is expected that the fellows participates in the Directorate Generals research projects, but there is some flexibility to do independent research under supervision.
Two scholarships are available in Denmark every year.
