About the Programme
The profile in International Business provides you with an advanced understanding of the international business environment, by developing global perspectives on companies that operate in different national and cultural contexts. You will gain knowledge of functional areas that influence management decisions in marketing, and you will gain knowledge in using methods and tools that can support the company´s relationships with the external environment and the interaction between companies, governments and communities in an international context.
Programme Structure
The programme contains courses focusing on the international organization giving knowledge about advanced organizational theory and international Business.
Students will gain knowledge about and skills in using methods and tools which can support careers in a number of areas including market research, imports, consultancy, exporting services marketing, direct marketing and distribution management. Finally, you will learn methods which can support a career in international or domestic markets, whether that means working with a large multi-national company, a smaller company, or even new ventures.
Through the courses in the programme, you will gain an advanced understanding of the international business environment. You will develop a global perspective on business which builds on a deep understanding of the different national and cultural contexts in which firms operate
The diagramme below gives an overview of the courses that are included in the programme. The programme lasts four years and consists of compulsory courses in the first two years, elective courses or study abroad in the third year, and a Master's thesis in the fourth year.
