At the fair, you will have the opportunity to speak directly with companies that are actively looking for talented students.

Eye-Hand Calibration
Development of automated process for measuring TCP for camera tool on robot arm (no chessboard). The core of this research project is the development of an automated process for measuring the Tool Center Point (TCP) for a camera through a few images. The core of this research project is the development of an automated process for measuring the Tool Center Point (TCP) for a camera through a few images. This innovative process has potential to replace the classic calibration with images of a chess board.
 
The concept is in process of being patented. A project may include programming, development of algorithms, robot programming, camera–robot communication and programming of the smart camera. This Camera Calibration project may also involve developing and programming a small series of calibration tools for smart cameras used on robots. Focus distance, optical axis, image optical center point, etc.
 
As part of a project, it will be possible to contribute to a peer reviewed paper on the process. SDU already have the special camera for this project and students have done some of the groundbreaking work on this project.
