Student Collaboration Day Sønderborg is an event, organised by SDU, where students and different companies meet, to talk about projects, internships, student jobs, jobs and collaboration in general.
The type of participants are broad – from large international companies to small start-ups and public organisations – all of them deeply interested in meeting SDU students and collaborate.
All participating companies can bring specific ads/open positions, so you have very fine chances to make a deal. The ads can be seen on the ads boards for Student Collaboration Day at the elevator on the day and most of the companies at SDU JOBBANK: https://sdu.jobteaser.com/da/events/237067

Eye-hand calibration. Development of automated process for measuring TCP for camera tool on robot arm (no chessboard).
This Camera Calibration project involves developing and programming a small series of calibrations tools for smart cameras used on robots. Focus distance, optical axis, image optical center point, etc.
The most revolutionary part of the project is the development of an automated process for measuring the Tool Center Point (TCP) for a camera tool on a robot arm. This innovative process has potential to replace the classic calibration with images of a chess board. The con-cept is in process of being patented.
A project can include programming, development of algorithms, robot programming, camera–robot communi-cation and programming of the smart camera. As part of a project, it will be possible to contribute to a peer reviewed paper on the process.
Last semester a group of students worked with the Selfie Aligner project on SDU Sønderborg. The Camera Ca-libration project is the next step in the development of this new approach to visual calibration of mobile ro-bots.
