Last check-in with Youth Card on Rejsekort is 28 May
If you currently have a physical Youth Card on Rejsekort, please note that the last day you can use the card is 28 May 2026.
To continue travelling with a Rejsekort, you must choose how your Ungdomskort will be delivered in the future - either as a new physical card (Basic card) or digitally in the Rejsebillet app.
You must make a choice. To continue travelling with an Ungdomskort after 28 May, you must log in to mitungdomskort.dk and choose whether you want your Ungdomskort to be delivered in the Rejsebillet app or as a physical card.
Here's how you do it:
- Log in to mitungdomskort.dk
- Go to the overview and click on 'right periods, delivery and payment'
- Click on 'change delivery' and select a new delivery method
Once you have made the change, your next period will automatically be valid on your new Ungdomskort. Your current Ungdomskort will be replaced by the new one when the next period comes into effect.
Youth card (Ungdomskort)
Delivery time: 1 day for a Youthpass in the Rejsebillet app and 10 business days for a physical Youthpass.
You are entitled to a Youthpass during the education period if you have a maximum of 3½ hours of public transport each way, and you must always approve the period in "My Youthpass" - also when you apply for a cash discount.
You must order your youth card from your place of study, SDU - which is your primary place of study. You are automatically approved via the site and your application does not need to be approved by the SU Office.
Your ordinary youth card entitles you to all public transport in your own tariff area. See the different tariff areas at dsb.dk.
You must first have purchased and paid for a Youthpass for your primary route before you can order a secondary card for internships or on-the-job training.
The earliest you can apply for a secondary card is the month before it is to be used and the period must not exceed the period you have paid for on your primary card.
It is important that you apply for approval in step 1 in good time so that the place of study can process your application and you can subsequently order the card from the transport companies in step 2. For short internships (e.g. two weeks), the period is automatically extended in step 2, so the card is valid for up to 30 days. However, the start date cannot be changed by either the place of study or the transport company.
The period cannot be extended due to late application or failure to order and pay in step 2. When applying for a secondary card, relevant documentation (e.g. pre-approval, internship agreement or similar) must be uploaded directly in the youth card application.
If you are going on more than one internship, you can apply for this at once by applying for a second, third and fourth internship etc.
If you are travelling by car you can apply for kilometre allowance. See the conditions for receiving mileage allawance.
