Why have you chosen to run?

I’ve decided to run because I believe in the power of student voices and want to ensure that every student feels heard and valued. As an international student myself, I’ve experienced firsthand some of the challenges we face, and I’m passionate about building stronger bridges between students, the university, and the wider community. This is a chance to give back and contribute to making our academic environment more inclusive and engaging for everyone.

Is there a specific cause you want to fight for if you are elected?

One of my main focuses will be on better representation for international students. I want to ensure that their unique perspectives are integrated into university decisions and policies. Additionally, I’m passionate about enhancing student engagement, making it easier for everyone to participate in events, initiatives, and discussions that shape their academic journey. Lastly, I want to work on initiatives that prioritize student well-being, creating a supportive environment where everyone can thrive academically and socially.

What can be expected from you as a student representative?

You can count on me to be approachable, proactive, and collaborative. I’m committed to listening to student concerns and turning them into actionable goals. I’ll advocate for transparency in decision-making processes, ensure diverse voices are included, and work tirelessly to bring creative, student-centered solutions to the table. My goal is to be a reliable and dedicated representative who keeps the needs and aspirations of students at the heart of every decision.
