What future awaits Europe when the war in Ukraine one day ends – and how will Russia’s aggression and the shifting priorities of the U.S. shape it?
Is it possible to defend the security order that for nearly 80 years has formed the foundation of Danish and European peace, stability, and welfare?
As the war drags on and both great powers and small states are forced to rethink their security policy positions, DIAS, in collaboration with Rasmussen Global and the Center for War Studies, invites you to an important and timely debate on the future of Europe's security policy.Three speakers with first-hand insight into both the dynamics of the war and the international response will set the stage: Two of the University of Southern Denmark’s sharpest analysts on the war in Ukraine, along with a highly specialized advisor from Rasmussen Global’s security team:
- Sten Rynning, Professor and Director of DIAS, University of Southern Denmark
- Anne Ingemann Johansen, Assistant Professor at the Center for War Studies, University of Southern Denmark
- Phillip Kjær Luscombe, Director of Defense at Rasmussen Global
All presentations and discussions will be in Danish
