Invitation to DaSCENT 2026 - conference focusing on military technology

The Royal Danish Naval Academy invites SDU students to the annual Danish Student Conference for Engineering & Naval Technologies, DaSCENT 2026.

This year’s theme is “Military capabilities in a modern world: new solutions for a rapidly changing battlefield” and focuses on how technological advancements, data operations, and new competencies are shaping future military solutions.

The conference brings together students and professionals to discuss key topics such as maritime systems, autonomy, AI-supported decision-making tools, energy solutions, cybersecurity, and future platform design. The aim is to create a forum where research, innovation, and practical experiences converge to provide concrete perspectives for the future of defense.

DaSCENT 2026 offers SDU students the opportunity to gain insights into current developments, expand their professional network, and contribute new ideas in a time when the battlefield is changing faster than ever.

The conference will take place at Nyhold from April 8-10. Registration closes on March 20 at 12:00 PM.
