- Study Start is organised and carried out in a collaboration between faculty management and tutors/camp managers, taking into account the principles of Study Start, which apply at all times.
- Study Start is an offer that applies to all new students, and neither academic nor social elements are to be centred around exclusionary elements.
- Faculty management is responsible for training tutors/camp managers and, in collaboration with them, creating a good culture in connection with the consumption of alcohol so that alcohol never becomes a focal point but is always viewed as a free choice.
- If points 2 and 3 are not complied with, faculty management can introduce the necessary sanctions, e.g. by banning alcohol for a temporary period. However, this must be reviewed in dialogue with the tutors/camp managers at the end of the activity in question.
- All consumption of drugs other than alcohol is strictly prohibited and may result in a police report.
If this code is violated, “Rules on disciplinary measures against students at the University of Southern Denmark ” will be applied.
Individual education programmes can choose to draw up their own guidelines within the framework of the above alcohol and drug policy.
