If you need urgent help, for example due to illness, injury or a crisis, support is available. Find contact details for relevant emergency support services and places where you can get advice and speak to someone.

If you are in an urgent or serious situation, help is available immediately. Below you will find contact details and information about the most relevant emergency services.
Call 112 in case of a serious accident, fire, violence, or other situations where life and health are at risk.
This applies, for example, to:
- serious illness or personal injury
- fire or accidents
- violent incidents
- suicide attempts
- situations requiring immediate assistance.
If you or someone else is experiencing an acute mental health crisis, you can contact the psychiatric emergency department in your region. These services are available 24/7 all year round.
You can seek help for issues such as:
- a serious mental health crisis
- suicidal thoughts
- acute anxiety or panic
- psychosis or other severe symptoms

Livslinien (Life Line)
Livslinien offers anonymous counselling to individuals in crisis or experiencing suicidal thoughts. The telephone counselling service is open daily, year-round, from 11:00 to 05:00.

Center for Voldtægtsofre (Center for Victims of Sexual Assault)
Center for Voldtægtsofre offers emergency help, counseling, and support after sexual abuse. You can receive help whether the abuse occurred recently or a long time ago, and you do not need to report the incident to receive assistance.
You can receive:
- emergency medical assistance and examination
- psychological help and counseling
- help with contacting the police
- support for relatives
The centers are open 24/7.

Do you need a safe place to stay?
If you are subjected to violence or threats of violence and need to leave your home for a period, a crisis center may be the right option for you.
Lev Uden Vold (Live Without Violence) operates a national hotline where you can receive anonymous counseling about violence in close relationships, available 24/7.
The hotline can assist with:

Out-of-hours medical service
Contact the Out-of-hours medical service if you need medical assistance outside your own GP's opening hours between 4 PM and 8 AM, as well as on weekends and public holidays.
Emergency Pharmacies
Obtain medication outside regular pharmacy opening hours at the emergency pharmacies.
If you need emergency dental care outside your own dentist's opening hours, you can contact the Dental Emergency Service.
You can contact the Poison Information Center (Giftlinjen) around the clock if you suspect poisoning.
