The Study Board of Economics has on meeting held 20 March 2012 decided that the following software will be used - in order of priority:
- Microsoft Office suite (including Word, Excel, Access etc.)
- R with software interface facilitating the use of R.
- Maxima for symbol arithmetic
- STATA and other software - subject specific - necessary for the individual course.
- Mat-Lab
- The policy also apply to students enrolled in the Mathematics-Economics study programme
