Course descriptions 2016-2017

The course descriptions have been approved by the Study Board, but minor adjustments may occur up until beginning of the semester.

Are you enrolled at the profile Management Accounting from February 1, The Academic Study Board of Business Administration recommends you to contact the teacher responsible for the before choosing courses to the spring semester.  

1. semester:
Management Accounting

You have to choose between one of the following three combinations of constituent courses:

Combination 1:
Foundations of Strategy
Foundations of Organization
Corporate Strategy and Organization Design (offered in the spring semester)

Combination 2:
Supply Chain Links and Enterprise Resource Planning (offered in the spring semester)
Supply Chain Inventory and Production Planning
Foundations of Organization

Combination 3:
Supply Chain Links and Enterprise Resource Planning (offered in the spring semester)
Supply Chain Inventory and Production Planning
Foundations of Strategy

2. semester:
Combination 1 & 2: Supply Chain Links and Enterprise Ressource Planning 
Combination 3: Corporate Strategy and Organization Design

Joint Subjects for combination 1, 2 and 3:
Advanced Management Accounting
Financial Accounting

3. semester:
Elective courses (Min./Max. 30 ECTS) (see below)

The Study Board draws your attention that the time table will not be changed because of overlap in lectures in the elective courses.

Elective courses offered by the Study Board of Business Administration:

FALL
Anthropology of Technology and Business
Big Data as a means for improved decision making(summer school course)- Please note that the lectures will most likely take place in the same weeks, therefore it cannot be recommended to take both courses.
Decision Analysis of Competitive Strategies: Pricing and Incentives in Markets(summer school course) - Please note that the lectures will most likely take place in the same weeks, therefore it cannot be recommended to take both courses.
Foundations of Organization(Please note! If you have chosen combination 1 or 2 this course cannot be taken as elective course)

Innovation Management and Marketing
Internal control and assurance systems (Note: the course is taught in Danish)

Regarding timetables for electives:
Because of the many elective courses offered, the study board cannot guarantee that the lectures are placed at different times for all electives. You may enroll in courses with overlap in lectures but it is your own responsibility if you are not able to follow all the teaching activities we offer in courses where overlap might occur. It is a good idea to make sure if there is convergence in the time table before you enroll in the courses. The study board draws to your attention that the time table will not be changed because of overlap in lectures in the elective courses.
