Procedure for registration for exams and reexams

You are automatically registered for the ordinary exams when you enroll in a course. The ordinary exams will take place in either December/January for the Autumn courses or June for the Spring courses. The reexams will take place in February for the Autumn courses and August for the Spring courses.

You should register for reexams/make-up exams via the student self-service, during the registration period:

  • 1-20 January for reexams in the Winter examination period (February)
  • 1-20 June for reexams in the Summer examination period (August).
  •

You can register for a reexam if you have been registered for tuition and/or the ordinary exam in the same course in the same semester. It is advisable that you register for reexams in all your courses, as late registration cannot be guaranteed.

You can register for reexams even though you have not yet received the result of the ordinary exam. If you pass the ordinary exam, your registration for the re-exam will automatically be cancelled by the office of Educational Law & Registration.

Please be aware that registration for the reexams is binding. Withdrawal requires a dispensation from the Study Board.
