Study Board for Natural Scientific IT Programmes

The study board is responsible for developing and assuring the acacemic quality of the programme. It also handles applications regarding dispensations and credit transfers.

What does the study board do?

The study board works to ensure the quality of your education and teaching. This includes:

maintaining and improving quality in programmes and teaching, for example by following up on evaluations.
approving programme regulations – both new ones and changes to existing regulations.
approving teaching and exam plans.
processing applications for credit transfer (including pre-approval) and dispensations.
providing input on matters that affect education and teaching.
discussing topics presented by the Rector regarding education and teaching.

Confidentiality – your information is safe

If you apply for an dispensation, you may need to explain very personal reasons in your application. This can feel uncomfortable, but please remember: all members of the study board are bound by confidentiality. Your information will be treated with respect and kept private.

The study board is a democratic body where students can influence the future of their education. Elections are held once a year.

In October, you will receive an email explaining how to stand as a candidate for the November election. If elected, you will serve on the study board for the following calendar year (from 1 January to 31 December).
