Members of the Department Council discuss the department’s development, organisation and finances, as well as advise the Department’s management. When you vote for a candidate for the Department Council, you are therefore helping to determine who has influence on decisions such as:

- Does your department need to take a new strategic direction?
- How do we get the best researchers and lecturers?
This means that when you vote for a candidate for the Department Council, you are helping to ensure that the students have an influence on the professional and academic conditions at the respective department.
