Structure of the programme

From October to June, you will work in interdisciplinary teams to develop a sustainable business idea, continuously refining it through workshops, prototypes, feedback, and pitching.

The programme runs alongside your studies and is extracurricular, corresponding to a total of 20 extra ECTS credits. The programme consists of 10 weekend workshops.

Below Zero takes you from idea to action through a hands-on learning experience. Through collaboration and mentoring, you are gradually introduced to the key elements of developing a sustainable startup - from the first ideas to a solution that can be tested and presented in the real world.

  • You become part of an interdisciplinary team with students from different study programmes
  • Together, you develop a sustainable business idea from initial ideation to a concrete solution
  • The programme combines workshops, teamwork, and individual preparation
  • Throughout the programme, you will work with ideation, prototyping, user feedback, and pitching etc.

You do not need a team or an idea before applying, as both interdisciplinary teams and ideas are developed within the programme.

All workshops take place at Videnbyen, Cortex Park 26, SDU in Odense.

Students from other campuses will have their transport and accommodation covered in connection with workshop weekends.

Workshop weekends are mainly held on Saturdays and Sundays from approx. 9:00 to 17:00.
