The price for the Bridging Course

The Bridging Course is a supplementary course for the Master of Science in Public Health programme at SDU (7,5 ECTS).

You will have to pay a tuition fee for the supplementary course. The fee is [coming soon] pr. ECTS point for EU/EEA-citizens. The fee for non-EU/EEA-citizens is [coming soon] pr. ECTS point.

When you have received the letter with your conditional admission to MSc in Public Health, a  separate invoice will follow. If you have a Danish address, the invoice is sent to you via e-Boks. If you do not have E-boks, the invoice is sent via the mail you used when you applied for admission. If you are a non-European student or an European without address in Denmark, the invoice is sent via the mail you used when you applied for admission..

Payment and Registration for the Bridging Course

Non-European students will be registered for the Bridging Course automatically, when you have accepted your programme spot and paid for the course. You will receive a separate invoice when you have accepted your offer of admission. 

European and Danish student will be registered for the Bridging Course automatically, when you have accepted your programme spot. You will receive a separate invoice as soon as possible after June 16.

Enrollment and access to the Bridging Course in Itslearning will be granted soon after June 16 but please note that it might take a couple of days due to the administrative processing. This counts for both Danish, European and non-European students.

Please note that you cannot participate in the exam before the payment is received and registered.

In 2026 The teaching is conducted in the following manner:

  • In weeks 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31 there are online teaching activities on Thursdays.
  • In week 32, there are online teaching activities everyday Monday to Thursday.
  • The exam will take place on Monday, August 10, 2026. The exam is conducted online.
  • The reexam will take place on Monday, August 17, 2026. The reexam is conducted online.

FAQ

  • Beyond the scheduled teaching, the course requires independent self-study throughout the course period and in preparation for the exam

You can expect to receive the results from both the exam and the re-exam approximately three to five days after the examination.


As the course is conducted online, it is possible to participate even if you have not received your residence permit before the course starts.


No. The Bridging Course must be passed before you can be fully admitted to the programme. The course is a prerequisite for being able to follow several courses in the programme at an adequate academic level.


It is not possible to receive The Danish students' Grants and Loans Scheme (SU) for the Bridging Course.
