Liam Liburd: The Politics of Race and the Future of Political History

What characterizes the role of race, racism, and antiracism in political histories? Liam Liburd will discuss this question based on his recent 2023 article in the Political Quarterly about the future of political history. He will also discuss the differences between the way race is studied and incorporated into British history versus the way it is in American history and histories elsewhere.
