Do you dream of a career in a German-speaking country or with an international company/organisation with links to the German market? Did you participate in the course Generalist German (pt. 1) in the autumn 2023? Would you like to continue and be eve better at speaking and understanding German? Then you have the opportunity to continue with part 2 of the course. This course will also focus on the cultural and social aspects of oral German.
Practical information about the course
The course lasts one semester and begins with a start-up seminar on Saturday, February 3 from 10-16 in Odense. After that, there will be ongoing classes once a week until week 17 (however, there will be no classes in week 7 and 13). A two-day excursion to Flensburg will be organized as part of the course. The excursion is scheduled to take place on 6-7 April, 2024. You will receive more information about this during the course.
Teaching is offered in two classes: 1 class physically on campus Odense and 1 class online. The start-up seminar on February 3 is for both classes and takes place physically at the Odense campus. The weekly classes will take place as follows (subject to changes in the schedule below):

We reserve the right to cancel a course if there are not enough registrations.
As a starting point, the teaching language is German, however the participants' level is taken into account.
The course is intended for both Danish and international students at SDU.
In order to receive a certificate of participation, you must actively and regularly participate in 75% of the classes offered (the excursion will not be included in the calculation). This means that you must be present and actively participate in the classes offered as well as complete the assignments related to the course.
