Why have you chosen to run?
Running for these elections seems a logical continuation of my pursuit for stronger representation of SDU’s global diversity and for fresh voices and ideas to be brought to light.
Is there a specific cause you want to fight for if you are elected?
I believe that, even though our European Studies program represents a small percentage of students in the University overall, it is crucial that our voices be represented and heard. Politics is an overarching theme of almost all topics of discussion, and it is therefore vital that we be a part of the discussions that concern us in some way or another.
What can be expected from you as a student representative?
I am a 5th semester student that has therefore went through almost all the motions of student life at SDU – from the rocky first semester, to the difficulties of finding a suitable student job, to the stress of exam season, and the choice of a place to study your semester abroad. It is thanks to these experiences that I should be able to represent European Studies students and their interests.
