Oral examinations

Arrive ahead of time!

Arrive 15-30 minutes before your examination begins and remember your student card, any supplementary materials, and a dispensation note, if relevant. In your course description/subject catalogue programme regulations or in your programme regulations, you will be able to see which supplementary materials are permitted. You can also read more about dispensation possibilities here and special exam conditions here

If you are late

Remember that if you arrive late, you will only be let in if the external examiner/examiner or student services allows it.

You will not receive additional time for the examination if you arrive late for the exam.

If you are not allowed to take the exam, you will be registered as “absent” and you will have used up one exam attempt. Link to the rules for registration for second and third exam attempt.
