Kolding is both a university city and a business city and is easily accessed from the motorway, the bus station and the railway station. And Billund Airport is only half an hour’s drive away.
The municipality of Kolding offers educational possibilities to all ages – ranging from the smallest children in the municipal primary and secondary schools through upper secondary education programmes to higher education programmes. Furthermore, there is a rich selection of other education programmes for you to participate in, for example through adult education associations, language schools and the public university (Folkeuniversitetet (in Danish)).
Kolding is the choice for many when it comes to place to study. There are numerous educations to choose from. A total of 3,000 students have chosen to enroll in a higher education in Kolding, whereof approximately 2,000 students are enrolled in the University of Southern Denmark. It is fairly easy to find a place to live, as the city has over 800 youth housings centrally located in relation to the educational institutions, and there is a wide cultural selection and an active study environment.
