You must pass the compulsory study start test in connection with semesterstart.
As a new engineering student, you must pass the compulsory study start test by the end of September, in order to be able to continue your studies. You have two attempts to pass the test.
The study start test consists of 100 % attendance on your study programme which is a fixed period set by SDU.
If you do not pass the first test, you must attend the re-examination. The re-examination consists of 100 % attendance on your study programme on new fixed date, set by SDU as well.
If you do not pass?
If you do not pass the study start test, your enrolment will be annulled by 1 October 2020. Please note that once you have been withdrawn due to a failed study start test, you cannot be re-enrolled on the same study programme later on, unless the university considers that the circumstances around you, for getting your degree, are considerably improved.
Prevented from participating
If you are prevented from participating in the Study Start Test(for one day only!), you must document this by presenting a doctor’s certificate / documentation for appointment at a medical specialist / hospital journals in accordance with Examination Regulations at SDU. However, in connection with the study start test, you must send the documentation to email@example.com and not the Registration & Legality.
If you are prevented from participating in tuition for a day or more due to long-term illness and other exceptional circumstances, you must apply the Academic Study Board for a dispensation.
