Online exams at BSS

All exams are held online in June and August 2020

All exams in June 2020 at Business and Social Sciences are reorganized into online completion. This means no physical attendance at SDU for written exams, as these are conducted as take-home exams instead.

If you are to attend an oral exam, this will be conducted via Zoom. Via the examination list in Blackboard, you can find a link to the relevant Zoom meeting. This will be available three days prior to the exam at the latest. A guide for Zoom will also be available via the examination list.

SDU launches the system Digital Exam  – find out here how this affects you

Digital Exam is the new digital system at SDU, where you can get an overview of your exams, collect exam questions and submit your exam assignments. During May, you will begin to receive e-mail notifications from Digital Exam, when your exams are visible in the system.

Under the item Exams on your study page at MySDU you can read more about Digital Exam – but you are welcome to log on to Digital Exam already now.

Look up and Blackboard for information on your exam dates and time

All exam dates are available in the exam plan on – this includes exams affected by Covid-19.
On the course page in Blackboard, you can locate your specific time slot in the examination lists. If you cannot locate yourself on the list, please contact The Student Information Point or Student Services.

Avoid cheating in exams

You only cheat yourself, if you cheat in your exams. Don’t do it! Read more here

Under the current circumstances, SDU will have a tightened focus on cheating in the written exams reorganized into take-home exams.
Please note that sampling of student activity during the exams may be conducted.

The exams will (with few exceptions) be conducted with all aids allowed, excluding communicating with others. Please note, that communicating with others can be acknowledged as cheating in exams under the current circumstances.

For the larger part of the reorganized written exams, Exam Monitor must be running on your computer during the entire exam. On the examination list, you can find information on whether Exam Monitor must be running during your exam. For take-home exams lasting multiple days, Exam Monitor is not used.
