Once you complete your study abroad, there are a few things you need to do to get everything settled.
Below, you will find a list of things you need to do and look into.
Please note that the information below is not an exhaustive - there might be practical matters that apply to you which you yourself must be aware of.
Submit your transcript via SPOC
Once you receive your transcript from your host university, remember to send it in via SPOC > International Office > Submission of transcript from host university
When you submit your transcript via the form, it will be received by the International Office as well as Registration and Educational Law, who handles the credit transfer (meritoverførsel) to your SDU degree, which is based on your pre-approval (forhåndsgodkendelse).
The official transcript should contain:
- Your personal data
- Titles of the courses you have followed (including English title)
- The grades you have achieved (preferably failed results as well)
- A description of the local grading scale
If the grading scale is not included in the transcript, you need to provide the information separately.
Additionally, the transcript must be either:
- Verifiable by date and a formal signature (signatures can be either by hand or digital), or
- Digitally verifiable, e.g. via verification link or via the host university’s website
Got questions about the credit transfer process or the requirements for the transcript? Then contact Registration and Educational Law via SPOC > Registration and Educational Law > Final credit transfer
Submit the documents required by the International Office
Depending on your destination and your grant, you will need to submit documents by the end of your stay. Please refer to the email about the grant for what you need to send in.
If you receive the Erasmus+ grant, this is also when we will calculate the final part of your grant. Please read the email about the grant carefully and save it for later reference.
Check your SU
If you receive SU, please check if there is anything you need to do in connection with returning home. You can find more information on your study programme's website about SU. If you have any questions, please contact the SU office at SDU.
