Which type are you?

All people are equally good, but not everyone is equally good at everything. What are you good at?

Discover new sides of yourself with a personality type test

What is your special talent seen in a typological perspective? You can get answers to that through a JTI.

There is no doubt about the fact that it makes an impact at job interview, staff development interviews, etc. if you can account for your special, personal talents and preferences.

Identifying your strong sides and your development areas is also relevant for your personal development and career.

The JTI builds on the Swiss psychiatrist C. G. Jung’s work with psychological types, and many students have already benefited from it, career-wise as well as personally.

JTI – what are your preferences?

JTI (Jung’s Type Index) is a test that tells you something about your preferences as a person. It can help illustrate your strengths and challenges – and can give you a hint about which work situations you will be comfortable or uncomfortable with. That is why personality tests are used by a lot of companies at job interviews, staff development and putting together a team.

The JTI clarifies where you get your energy form, how you process information, how you make decisions, and how you organize your life. It’s about finding your preferences, how you can use them, and how you can develop the sides of you, where you’re not that strong.

How can you use a JTI?

The JTI is a good starting point for your personal development. You can use it to work on your strengths and weaknesses. The JTI and resulting profile are often used to:

  • Get more insight into yourself
  • Become better at communicating your strengths and weaknesses
  • Build better interpersonal skills
  • Understand other people’s preferences
  • Identify your strengths and potential for development
  • Spot your motivation and job satisfaction

A JTI can be a part of a counselling or if you wishes to use it in a specific context.

Write to us at karriere@sdu.dk if you are interested in a JTI and a related counselling
