Examination schedule

As a general rule, the exams for the day-time programmes at BSS are held in June and January, and reexams are held in August and February. In the autumn semester, exams can be held in December for exchange students with re-exams in January or February. This must be described separately in the course description.

 

The Faculty has approved that Campus Esbjerg can organise their master programmes in quarters.

No later than three days before the exam will take place, the examination order and the distribution of the examination rooms, for each exam, will be published on this site. If you are not on the list, please contact Student Service:

Remember to bring your Student Card to the exam. Furthermore, you may have to bring aids such as your PC, calculator etc. If that is the case, you'll be informed about it before the exam.

If you have been granted an exemption (e.g. an extension of the exam) make sure to bring it with you to the exam.

Check your examination registrations through the Student Self-Service.  If you have been registered for a course, you are automatically registered for the exam.

If you have done the course before but have not passed the exam, you need only register for the exam.

You may only enter the examination room if you are on the final examination lists. You must therefore make sure that you are on the examination lists. Please contact Student Service- the Examinations Office via SPOC as soon as possible, if you have any doubts.

If you do not pass the ordinary exam, you need to do a re-exam. You alone have the responsibility to register for the re-exam, i.e. you decide when you want to do the re-exam (e.g. the next time the ordinary exam is available).

If you need to make use of the 3rd examination attempt, it is also your responsibility to register for it. I.e. like  with the 2nd examination attempt, you decide when you want to use the  3rd examination attempt in the ordinary examination period.
If the course is no longer available, you must sign up for the 3rd examination attempt  next time the exam is offered. If you fail to register for the exam, you’ll automatically be signed up for it.

Grades for written exams and assignments/papers will be publicized within 4 weeks from the examination date. The assessments of both Bachelor’s projects and Master’s Thesis projects must be publicized no later than 6 weeks after the deadline. The month of July is not included in the 4 weeks or the 6 weeks.
